Rocker Arms

A rocker arm is an automotive component found in an internal combustion engine. When a camshaft lobe works on the arm, it opens either an intake or exhaust valve. This allows fuel and air to enter the combustion chamber during the intake stroke and exhaust gases to exit during the exhaust stroke. Rocker arms have been used for almost two hundred years, and their function has changed little since then. Both the operation efficiency and the manufacture material are always being improved during the development of rocker arms. Many current rocker arms are constructed using the drop forging process and materials such as 42CrMo or other alternatives.
