Turbo Upgrade Components

A turbocharger is a device that increases an internal combustion engine's intake air pressure by connecting a compressor wheel and an exhaust gas turbine wheel through a solid shaft. The compressor is driven by the energy extracted from the exhaust gas turbine, which also uses it to reduce friction. Most automotive-related applications use radial flow compressors and turbine wheels. Axial flow turbine wheels can be used in some applications in place of radial flow turbines, such as medium- and low-speed diesel engines.
