Wastegate Springs

Different spring types are available for the Aeroflow Performance wastegate to accommodate various boost levels. Installed with 1 Bar already (14psi). Different spring combinations can be needed to accommodate various boost requirements and tuning; these springs are offered individually; for additional details on these springs, please refer to the chart. To get the appropriate base boost pressures, the tuner may combine up to three springs. These springs are colour coded to make it easier to identify them. The overall boost psi pressure is calculated by multiplying the spring rates together when choosing your spring rate. The choice of wastegate spring will affect your desired minimum and maximum boost pressure as well as your control strategy.
